SCCM, LLC Relies On Fulcrum Construction To Handle Unique Build-outs For Their Clients
Fulcrum staff recently completed four service office projects in eight months in the Atlanta area, totaling over 70,000 sf. Each project included interior up fit as well as exterior renovation. The projects are of a new prototype design. As with many new prototypes, these have evolved as the tenant reevaluated its needs during the construction process.
The team handled all of the changes in stride. In fact, on the two largest projects (14,000 sf and 36,000 sf), the team brought the projects in a combined 22 days ahead of schedule. Excellent subcontractor coordination and scheduling was the key.
“Because of the high-tech design, security factors and heavy traffic, these projects ranked an eight on a difficulty scale of one to ten,” said Myron Sheron, vice president of SCCM, LLC. “In spite of this, Mike Arasin and his team came in on budget and sometimes ahead of schedule.” Sheron said they have realized a savings of more than 5% so far on their gross contracts.
